Years ago I dreamed of writing a book that would help people to quickly feel emotionally stable and secure. I began writing and stopped writing again and again. Still in my mind I had the intention of helping people to feel better.
Last year I felt an inner pressure to get the book written because everywhere I looked people were struggling. The weather events alone were devastating large populations of people. I began asking The Universe for help in my urgent need to move this project forward and almost immediately Leslie Evelo agreed to co-author the book with me. At the same time people began to offer their amazing stories of healing using the different methods we were recommending. The collaboration was amazing and unforeseen.
As the year went by, my father was increasingly ill and I found myself needing to test every suggestion that we make in the book, to see if it would be helpful to me in that moment. Life continued to be enormously stressful for me and for literally everyone that Leslie and I know. Our now shared dream of creating something that would be helpful was intensified. Today, we find ourselves walking into the mental picture that we had when we met to discuss working together on this book. We had even fantasized about having someone tell us that the book had been immediately helpful in their journey. We got an email yesterday that said almost word for word what we had imagined.
Dreams can come true even when you have no idea how to make them come true. Just see it clearly, imagine how it will feel when it does happen, and take the next baby step necessary in the direction of what you want to accomplish. The only tricky part is hanging with it when you can’t see how it is going to turn out, or exactly what to do next. Ask for help from The Universe and see what shows up for you. Keep the faith, and then enjoy the moment when you realize you have made your dream a reality.
